I started the charter business in ’89. It was a fishing charter, primarily in salt water and then it ventured into some sightseeing. I started doing Stikine River trips in the early 90’s. The Stikine is one of the most unique features in Southeast Alaska. It’s the biggest river in Southeast and crosses into Canada, you can go up in a jetboat 160 miles, and it’s just an awesome scenic river to watch transition from a coastal forest to more of an interior rain shadow.

This river has provided me with a good source of revenue through the years, and we celebrated 25 years of business this summer.
